  • Welcome New Youth Leader

    Welcome to the Littell Family

We are so happy to welcome Shawn Littell as our new youth leader.  Shawn is a native of Evansville, graduating from Reitz High School.  He received his Bachelor's degree from Lincoln Christian University in Illinois.  He holds a Master's degree in business from New England College in New Hampshire.

Shawn is married to Cassie, and they have four children.  Titus (9), Ryland (7), Caiden (4), and finally a girl Aimsley (2).

When it comes to his history, it is plain to see that Shawn has a heart for helping people.  While in college he worked as a children's minister for two years.  He also did extensive work with inner city youth in Chicago.  Mission work is dear to his heart, and Shawn has participated in more that 20 mission trips.  His favorite trip consisted of spending three months working with youth in Indonesia.

Most recently Shawn and Cassie have been in Colorado where he served as Executive Director for a non-profit whcih offered services to patients suffering from strokes, dementia, etc.  They wanted to return to Indiana to raise their kids closer to family.

Shawn loves music. He plays the bass guitar, dulcimer, and ukelele.  Next on his list of favorite things to do is kayaking and fishing!

As Youth Leader, Shawn simply wants the youth to experience a frest start and become disciples of Christ.  As they grow, he wants them to become mentors in order to disciple others.

To sum up his purpose, Shawn relates that, "I came to realize that the times Christ was not the center of my life, were the times when my life went in many directions.  I want to teach the youth by stressing the importance of having God in their lives."

We look forward to having Shawn, Cassie and their children in our fellowship!  WELCOME LITTELL FAMILY!
